People often ask why we homeschool expecting there to be one simple reason. Although there was one reason that convinced us to take the leap - there are many reasons that keep us doing it. This blog is an open journal containing those reasons. * * * * * * Although we do not wish to put people in a position to choose whether they are going to be offended or not, we do have the desire to display the reasons of our decision to homeschool and to provide a resting place of supportive and familiar words to those who are in the same boat.
We welcome all intelligent and researched ideas. Our opinions, views, and decisions have, during the last 5 years, been given such efforts, so we surely appreciate similar efforts coming from others. * * * * * *

"Education should provide the tools for a widening and deepening of life, for increased appreciation of all one sees or experiences. It should equip a person to live life well, to understand what is happening about him, for to live life well one must live with awareness."
